Apple workshops wrapped up

Thursday marked the wrap up of the free Apple Workshops offered by the IDT department, November 10-12. Five workshops were presented by Senior System Apple Engineer, Tim Matheny, on iLIfe’09, MobileMe, Apple Show and Tell, Mobile Learning, Digital Video, and Enhanced Podcasting. Around 200 participants attended the workshops, some of them in more than one. The IDT department would like to thank Tim for his lively presentations, as always.

Graduate assistantship in online course develoment

Do you like volleyball? Are you already needing a break from your stressful class schedule?

Then come join the IDT Graduate Student Association's September Cookout on Saturday, September 12th, from 1:00 - ??? p.m. at Paul Ayers' home..

We will be grilling burgers and hotdogs, playing volleyball and swimming, and enjoying a break from our hectic school schedules. Members are asked to bring a covered cookout dish (chips, potato salad, baked beans, desserts, etc.)

Volunteer Positions at AECT

AECT is still seeking volunteers for the convention (Oct 27-31 in Louisville, KY). Volunteers received reduced registration and have the opportunity to meet many of the leaders in the field. Here is the website:
