Apple workshops wrapped up

Thursday marked the wrap up of the free Apple Workshops offered by the IDT department, November 10-12. Five workshops were presented by Senior System Apple Engineer, Tim Matheny, on iLIfe’09, MobileMe, Apple Show and Tell, Mobile Learning, Digital Video, and Enhanced Podcasting. Around 200 participants attended the workshops, some of them in more than one. The IDT department would like to thank Tim for his lively presentations, as always.

Graduate assistantship in online course develoment

If you would like to interview for a graduate assistantship designing online courses for a university department beginning in January, email Dr. Martindale (emartndl@memphis.edu) ASAP. Include in your email a brief summary of your qualifications and experience in terms of online course design and instructional design.

The Instructional Design and Technology program at The University of Memphis is pleased to offer FREE workshops on Apple tools and applications. These will be conducted by Tim Matheny, a Senior System Engineer with Apple. Seating is limited and registration is required...but these top-notch workshops are FREE.

My name is Theodore J. Kopcha, Ph.D. and I am an Assistant Professor with the Department of Educational Technology at San Diego State University. I am conducting a study regarding a number of relevant issues in the field of Educational Technology.

I am requesting your participation by completing a survey for us. The 30-item survey contains a number of Likert-type items related to Educational Technology and topics pertinent in the field, such as theories and related practice, design models, and technology in K12 education.
